Scott Mik introduces his solo project with “GLITCHED REALITY”

Los Angeles guitarist and songwriter Scott Mik introduces his solo project with “GLITCHED REALITY,” an instrumental metal track built around heavy riffs, melodic guitar work, electronic textures and glitch-inspired production. The song was written during a difficult turning point in Scott’s career, channeling frustration and uncertainty into a new direction as a solo artist.

Scott previously established himself as the guitarist for Los Angeles metalcore band Hollywood Nightmare, performing and touring extensively with the group. He currently plays guitar for Nathan James, continuing to build his career on the road while developing his own instrumental material alongside his work as a live guitarist.

“GLITCHED REALITY” is the first release from a larger collection of instrumental music Scott has written, with each track representing a different perspective and period of his life. This October, Scott will head back on the road with Nathan James, bringing the same focus on heavy music and live performance that continues to shape his solo work.
