Canada’s queen of darkness treated fans to a new track this Halloween with “ROSEMARY’S REVENGE”. This is the first taste of new Backxwash music since the release of her album of the year contender I LIE HERE BURIED WITH MY RINGS AND DRESSES this past summer.

While I LIE HERE BURIED sees Backxwash reflecting on her own personal suffering via compelling industrial hip-hop, “ROSEMARY’S REVENGE” is based on a folk tale of a ghost from the artist’s home nation of Zambia. This new single is also more guitar-based than most of her other recent material, giving a heavy nod to the rapper’s metalhead side.

Based on this Tweet posted later in the day, it looks like Backxwash fans have some more new music to look forward to following this Halloween treat.
