Here at Scene Daddy, excitement has been mounting over the past few months as the end of July approaches and we get closer and closer to the start of New Friends Fest! We have already introduced NFF as a must-see festival for punks in DIY scenes and shared some details about the overall culture of the event. Now with only a few weeks left to go, it’s time for fest-goers to get serious about preparing for that weekend. Here is our breakdown of some key artists to look out for at New Friends Fest by genre. You can get to know them a little better by checking out releases we’ve linked for each and keeping up with the New Friends DIY Instagram and Facebook pages. They have been dedicating posts to highlighting individual artists with eloquently and lovingly written bios about each of them! Stay tuned for part 2 where we will point out some more artists and more subgenres!
