Life In Idle announce new album ‘Continuity Error(s)’ and release its second single

Ohio emo group Life In Idle have just released “Summer Bummer”, the second single from their sophomore record Continuity Error(s). The aptly titled melancholy emo track is the perfect soundtrack for those lonely summer nights that end up being … well … kind of a bummer. The band shared that, “‘Summer Bummer’ is about being tethered to a role/person for better or for worse. Not because you want to be, but because without this role… what are you?

While their debut album, 2018’s She’s Out to Get Me, leaned more into high-energy pop-punk, their sound has developed into a more emotionally evocative style of Midwest emo. Both “Summer Bummer” and their prior single “Catch 22” showcase what Life In Idle have to offer in this genre. Continuity Error(s) is set to come out this August and shortly following its release, the band will play this year’s Ohio Is For Lovers festival in their home state.
