Chad Kowal Makes a Statement on “ALT POP”

On Chad Kowal’s new single “ALT POP”, produced by Joey Bradford of The Used, he promises to deliver originality and authenticity in his music. With the track’s smooth rap flow in the verses and massive rock choruses, it’s clear that he meant it when he said “I burned up the rule book, threw that in the trash”.

Prior to starting his solo career, Chad Kowal was a member of post-hardcore group Farewell, My Love and wrote for DJs like KAAZE and Thomas Gold. His combination of unfiltered creativity and previous experiences making music have all led to this solo project. Though this isn’t the first song that was released under his own name, it’s clear that “ALT POP” is his thesis statement. Check out the music video below!
