Motionless In White have unleashed a new music video for “Thoughts & Prayers.” The track is off the band’s latest album, Disguise (Roadrunner Records).

The band delivers the track’s hard-hitting message with a gory masterpiece — the footage showcases a blonde Chris Motionless and each of the members adorned in white attire from head to toe. Throughout the song, blood splatters from every angle and pours from the ceiling, drenching MIW in a deep red. 

The video’s storyline correlates with a reference from ancient Egyptian mythology: the ‘Weighing of the Heart’ was a ceremony that took place upon death. The heart would be weighed by the gods to determine if it was light enough to enter the afterlife.

MIW’s own Ricky Olson directed these bloody, intense, and provocative visuals. The director of photography credits goes to Tone Mauro.
